I can’t remember my Your Benefits Resources Web site password. How do I reset it?

If you don’t know your password, log on to the Your Benefits Resources Web site at www.ybr.com/airgas and select I Forgot My Password on the login page to reset your password. Or, if you have established answers to your security questions online, these answers will allow you to access your online accounts. Keep in mind that password reset requests via U.S. mail can take 7-10 days.

When can I enroll in the health and insurance plans?

You are eligible to enroll in the health and insurance plans within 31 days of your hire date or during annual enrollment. For more information about enrolling for benefits, please refer to the 2014 Enrollment Guide or the Summary Plan Description.

When can I change my health and insurance coverage elections?

You may change your health and insurance coverage elections during annual enrollment or if you have a qualified status change, such as getting married or having a child. For more information about changing your benefit elections, please refer to the 2014 Enrollment Guide or the Summary Plan Description.

How do I add a new dependent?

To add a dependent due to a birth, marriage, adoption, divorce, etc., contact a Customer Care Representative at 1-877-4AG-BENEFITS or 1-877-424-2363 prior to or within 31 days of the qualifying status change.

Note: Airgas audits dependents enrolled in our health care plans to ensure that they qualify as eligible dependents under the plan. Each year, Airgas conducts a random audit of covered dependents during annual enrollment. Individuals who are not eligible for benefits will be dropped from coverage.

New employees enrolling dependents or current employees adding dependents to Airgas plans will be asked to provide proof of dependent eligibility. If you provide acceptable proof of eligibility within 31 days of the request, coverage will remain for your approved dependent(s). If your dependent(s) are not approved by the deadline, coverage will be dropped.

How do I apply for short-term disability (STD) benefits?

To receive STD benefits, you must apply and submit medical evidence that your illness or injury makes you unable to perform your regular job. How do I enroll in the 401(k) Plan or change my investments?

You can enroll in the 401(k) Plan or make changes to your investments at any time on the Vanguard Web site at www.vanguard.com or by calling 1-800-523-1188.

How do I enroll in the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)?

You can enroll in the ESPP during one of the quarterly enrollment periods. Typically, the enrollment periods are the two-week periods at the end of a calendar quarter for an effective date of the first day of the next quarter.  For example, a July 1, 2014 enrollment effective date has an enrollment period of June 15–30, 2014.
